After a combined degree in Law and Economics at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Kevin Russi completed his lawyer traineeships in a large commercial law firm in Zurich and a broad-based law and notary firm in Rapperswil SG. After obtaining his license to practice as a lawyer and notary public in the Canton of St. Gallen, he worked for about three years as a lawyer in the tax law team of Bär & Karrer in Zurich, a leading Swiss commercial law firm. He successfully completed his part-time further-education as Swiss Certified Tax Expert in 2014.
